As with Magic Millions, Capitalist is the leading sire by representation with 29 entries courtesy of his huge book of 243 mares covered at a fee of $99,000 to be the busiest sire in Australia in 2021.

There are going to be a lot of yearlings by Capitalist offered at 2024 sales!

The next two most represented sires are first season young guns Farnan and Ole Kirk on 23 entries each and both have a high profile being champion sons of champion sires.

A Golden Slipper winning Champion 2YO by Not a Single Doubt, Farnan ticks a lot of boxes and given the success at stud of Not a Single Doubt’s other G1 winning 2YO Extreme Choice, it’s no surprise to see the auction house have been keen to get as many as possible in the book.

Farnan, click for more info on this Golden Slipper winning sire.

A two time Group I winner of the Golden Rose /Caulfield Guineas double and Champion 3YO Colt by Written Tycoon, Ole Kirk is by a proven sire of sires from the Black Caviar/ All Too Hard female family so holds tremendous appeal.

Both Farnan and Ole Kirk stood for $55,000.

Of the sires whose oldest progeny are two year-olds, Zousain leads the way and has 23 entries ahead of Yes Yes Yes on 17 and 16 for Exceedance, who has already sired the stakes-winner Dublin Down, winner of the Group III VRC Maribyrnong Plate.

Zousain is waiting for this first winner, click for more info.

As with Magic Millions, boom first season sire Alabama Express has scant representation with just two entries offered by Vinery Stud and Glenbeigh Farm.
