Progressive youngsters highlight November (Late) Online Sale catalogue

Media Release - Friday November 17

Exciting racing prospects are again to the fore in the Inglis Digital November (Late) Online Sale with many quality offerings among the 254-strong catalogue, which is now open for bidding.

Newgate Farm and partners are offering promising colt Critique (Written Tycoon), already a winner of two of his seven starts.

Critique

Critique (pictured) wasted little time showing off his immense talent, breaking his maiden at just his second career start by three lengths.

His other win came at Randwick in October while his most recent outing saw him beaten just four lengths in the G3 Carbine Club Stakes at Flemington on Derby Day.

Newgate and partners are earning a strong reputation as being top-level sellers through Inglis Digital; previous Newgate-consigned horses on the platform include Rule Of Law – a six-time winner of almost $300,000 in earnings – and Dance, a dual winner of almost $500,000.

Another entry of interest in the November (Late) Sale is the Bob and Sandra Peters-owned mare Arcadia Jewel (Ocean Park), which is being offered as a racing and breeding prospect.

As a race mare the 4YO has won two of her seven starts and most recently was beaten just three lengths at Ascot on Cox Plate Day.

As a breeding prospect she is regally bred, being out of WA Derby winner Arcadia Dream, making her closely related to G1 winners like Arcadia Queen and Regal Power.

There is also a draft of five yearlings for renowned Victorian nursery Gilgai Farm which includes both colts and fillies by stallions Tassort, Supido, Churchill, Impending and Hanseatic.

In total the November (Late) catalogue of 254 entries consists of 168 racehorses (76 race fillies), 31 broodmares, 28 racehorse shares, 26 yearlings and 1 unbroken stock.
