Magic Millions 2024 Now Online

The undisputed number one Group One producing thoroughbred auction in Australasia will soon present its next crop of future champions with today's release of the online catalogue for the 2024 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale.

Due to unprecedented demand from breeders and vendors the upcoming selling extravaganza will be the biggest January Gold Coast Yearling Sale in history.

The seven days of selling will be held across eight days commencing at 11am on Tuesday, 9 January, following the popular barrier draw event at Surfers Paradise beach.

Book One, comprising a record 1,020 lots, will continue daily from Tuesday through Friday before the traditional Saturday night session following the running of the record $14.25 million The Star Gold Coast Magic Millions Raceday.


The Book Two component of the sale, comprising a further 448 lots will be conducted over two days on Monday 15 and Tuesday 16 January with Sunday now an official inspection day.

The star studded catalogue of 1,468 yearlings across Books One and Two, includes progeny of 129 individual sires, with huge interest to surround youngsters by 26 first season sires.

Among lots catalogued are (at least half) relations to spring carnival stars Imperatriz, Think About It, Attrition and Griff as well as Coolangatta, Golden Sixty, In Secret, Sunlight and Warm Heart.

Yearlings from 33 Group One winning mares are highlights - among them the first or second foals of Arcadia Queen, Avantage, English, Hasahalo, I Am Excited, In Her Time, Kenedna, Loving Gaby and Missisippi Burning.

Reigning champion sire I Am Invincible has 50 entries for Magic Millions.
