Smart three-year-old Warranty is set to feature during Flemington's Melbourne Cup carnival after leading home an All Too Hard trifecta at Randwick on Saturday.
All Too Hard, a brother to all-conquering sprinter Black Caviar, was represented by four of his progeny in the field of six for the Cellarbrations Handicap (1400m).
The Peter and Paul Snowden-trained Warranty ($4.40) defeated Groundbreak ($3.60 fav) for Hawkes Racing and David Payne's All Too Soon ($5.50) to complete a metropolitan trifecta for Vinery Stud's second season-sire.
Winning jockey Christian Reith elected to lead from the inside draw before punching out Warranty over the final furlong to stave off Groundbreak by a long head while All Too Soon finished 1-3/4 lengths back in third.
Peter Snowden said the Listed Lexus Hybrid Plate (1400m) for three-year-olds at Flemington on Melbourne Cup day is the likely next race for Warranty.
"She's a nice progressive filly. Put the writing on the wall with a very authoritative win last start at Kembla and has just kept on improving," Snowden said.
"Good to see her beat some nice horses today and she might have earned a trip to Melbourne now.
"When you get a handy three-year-old this time of year they can take these steps pretty quickly and I believe this filly fits that bill."
