The first Australian juvenile race of the season will be run at Toowoomba on Saturday with the $85,000 Pat O’Shea Plate (1000m) attracting ten entries including one youngster by a first season sire.

The Mishani bred and owned horses dominate the field with six of the runners trained by trained by Les Ross and sporting their colours… a racecaller’s nightmare!
Among their contingent is Mishani Eclipse, a gelding by Telemon Thoroughbreds first season sire Sun City, who was a brilliant juvenile stakes-winner by Zoustar.
