Quaddie attack Saturday

Breednet - Friday October 20

There is nothing better than cheering home the final leg to land a fat quaddie and Racenet’s analysts have put their heads together to give you a chance at a big dividend on Saturday.

Here are our suggested quadrella strategies.

Randwick

1st leg

1, 4, 5

2nd leg

2, 3, 6, 11

3rd leg

1, 2, 6, 9, 13

4th leg

1, 4, 7, 9, 10, 11

360 Combinations

Analysis: The opening leg has three main winning chances headed by Malahat which wasn’t beaten far by the talented Viridine. Single Bullet and Albumin the clear dangers. We have the second leg down to four. We have to include the class runners Daysee Doom and Dixie Blossoms but they have to be some query dropping back to the mile from 1200m, we’ll take another three as insurance. The final two legs are wide, especially leg four - we’ll be going wide.

$20 investment = 5.56%

Caulfield

1st leg

1, 4, 5, 6, 10

2nd leg

1, 2, 3, 7, 11, 14, 15, 16

3rd leg

1

4th leg

1, 3

80 Combinations

Analysis: Our quaddie will depend on the class mare Foxplay getting the job done in the third leg - We will stand her out. We’ll go wide in the Caulfield Sprint and Caulfield Cup which are impossible to narrow down considering the quality in each. In the final leg Nieta looks hard to beat but we have to include Fuhryk which will give her a race.

$20 investment = 25%

Doomben

1st leg

5, 9, 13

2nd leg

3, 4, 5, 6, 14

3rd leg

1, 2, 3

4th leg

7, 9

72 Combinations

Analysis: We will shorten things up in the final leg where the Chris Waller-trained Torgersen looks hard to beat after scoring a nice win in open company at the Gold Coast last start. His ratings have him clearly on top. There only appear limited chances in the remaining legs so we will keep it short and hope to land a big percentage.

$20 investment = 22.7%

Morphettville

1st leg

4, 7, 12

2nd leg

1, 7, 8

3rd leg

1, 2, 4

4th leg

1, 3, 7

180 combinations

Analysis: Taking an even spread in our quaddie legs. There only appears three main chances in each so we will be aiming for a high percentage. Lady Of Crebilly should be winning second-up in the first leg. In the second leg Embecee Lil is the horse with the most upside. Jim’s Journey looks to break through in the third leg after two stakes placings while the final leg it is hard to separate the top three.

$20 investment = 11.11%

Ascot

1st leg

11, 10

2nd leg

1, 3, 5, 10

3rd leg

2, 4, 7, 8, 9

4th leg

3, 4, 5, 9, 10, 11

240 Combinations

Analysis: Stageman looks a real up and comer for Team Williams. It should be taking out the first leg but we will be taking insurance with Dynamite Dream which maps well and can threaten despite being up in grade. Oliver’s Trade looks hard to beat in the second leg after an impressive first-up win but we can’t go without insurance there. Taking the main chances in the wide-open final legs.

$20 investment = 8.33%
