Sydney Official 2YO Trials Sale Mail - Sort by Sire and Vendor

The first round of new season two year-old trials are in Sydney on Monday at Randwick and there are 12 heats with our Sale Mail featuring yearling images and is sortable by sire and vendor with Capitalist and I Am Invincible most represented with six entries each.

There is always tremendous interest in the first season sires and 11 have youngsters on show as follows – Blue Point (IRE) (3), Brutal (1), Castelvecchio (1), Cosmic Force (1), Dubious (1`), Microphone (1), Pierata (2), Tassort (2), Too Darn Hot (GB) (1), Yes Yes Yes (2) and Zousain (2).

Bosustow was a $900,000 yearling by Blue Point (IRE).

With 35 first crop winners in Europe, all eyes will be on the Blue Point two year-olds and they include his top selling yearling here in Australia, a colt called Bosustow that was bought by Rosemont Alliance/Suman Hedge Bloodstock (FBAA)/Annabel Neasham Racing Pty Ltd for $900,000 from the Segenhoe draft at Magic Millions.

Trained by Annabel Neasham, the colt from Bumbasina (IRE) is a half-brother to Group I winner WA star Amelia’s Jewel, who resumes from a spell at Flemington on Saturday.

Scampi was a $750,000 MM purchase.

His second top priced yearling is also an acceptor with the Ciaron Maher and David Eustace trained colt Scampi a $750,000 MM purchase from the Bhima Thoroughbreds draft. He is a half-brother to fast stakes-winning juvenile Semillon from Sistonic, whose third dam is blue hen Scandinavia so itls the Black Caviar, All Too Hard and Ole Kirk family.

There are three two year-olds that sold for $1million or more with the $1.6million I Am Invincible colt from Tumooh the most expensive.

Bodyguard was a $1.6million MM purchase.

Trained by Peter and Paul Snowden, Bodyguard was purchased at Magic Millions from the Emirates Park draft by James Harron Bloodstock Colt Partnership and is the first foal of an unraced Fastnet Rock daughter of Golden Slipper winner Mossfun.

Invincible Madison was a $1.2million Magic Millions purchase.

The highest priced filly is also by I Am Invincible with Invincible Madison bought by US investor Tammy Rigney at Magic Millions for $1.2million from the Glenlogan Park draft. Trained by Peter and Paul Snowden, she is a three-quarter sister-in-blood to Champion Singapore 2YO Super One and is the first foal of Group II placed sprinter Super Too.

Among the six entries for Capitalist is his top selling yearling this year, a colt from Menagerie that has been named Homes a Court and is trained by Peter and Paul Snowden.

Holmes a Court was the top seller for Capitalist this year fetching $850,000 at Magic Millions.

An $850,000 Magic Millions purchase from the Newgate draft for China Horse Club/Newgate/Go/Trilogy. Holmes a Court is the first foal of Menagerie, a winning half-sister by Zoustar to Group I winning juvenile Il Quello Veloce from the family of G1 sprinters Terravista and Tiger Tees.
