When at her peak, Flying Mascot was one of the most talented mares in training in Australia.

In the spring of 2021 and autumn of 2022, Flying Mascot (Tavistock) raced eight times for four wins (three at G3 level in the Tesio Stakes, Mannerism Stakes and Matron Stakes) and three minor placings.

Her only unplaced effort that season was when she bravely finished a close-up fifth in the G1 Empire Rose Stakes at Flemington behind Collette, Mystic Journey, Hungry Heart and Nimalee, all G1 winners themselves.

Flying Mascot is being offered as a breeding prospect only – she is by outstanding broodmare sire Tavistock, who is the broodmare sire of a host of top-class performers including dual Group 1 winner Mr Brightside plus Group winners Annavisto, Straight Arron and Dragon Queen.

Gin Martini is another lucrative offering in the sale.

Raced by James Moss’s Tricolours Racing And Syndications, the versatile Gin Martini was Group placed at two before training on to be G1 placed at three.

Showing her true grit and tenacity, she then won two more Stakes races as a four-year-old mare before her connections have opted to sell her.

There are many proven mares on high-quality covers being offered in the sale, headlined by Dismissal – a G2 placed 2YO by Not A Single Doubt, offered in foal to Champion Sire Written Tycoon – and Eloquent Ruby (the dam of G3 winner Cardinal Gem) in foal to Toronado.

In total, the August (Late) catalogue consists of 183 racehorses (100 race fillies), 116 broodmares, 32 racehorse shares, 26 yearlings and five unraced stock.
