Some positive news emanating from Haras du Buff with Amelia’s Jewel’s dam Bumbasina (IRE) set to foal a full sibling to the Western Australian champ in August.

After missing in 2021, Bumbasina (IRE) was flown back to France for a date with Haras de Bonneval’s champion stallion Siyouni (FR).
The news is not so good for Amelia’s Jewels 2yo half-brother True Heroes (Merchant Navy), who died in April without making it to the races.

Bosustow (Blue Point) a $900,000 Magic Millions yearling
Bumbasina’s $900,000 Blue Point (IRE) colt has been named Bosustow and is in the stables of Annabel Neasham.
Purchased by Rosemont Alliance/Suman Hedge Bloodstock FBAA/Annabel Neashan Racing when consigned by Segenhoe Stud to the Magic Millions, Bosustow was the highest-priced yearling by his Darley-based sire sold in 2023.
