Placed on debut at his only run last year at Deauville, the Francis Henri Graffard trained three year-old disappointed at his first two runs this year over 1300 and 1400m, but dropped back to 1000m for this assignment he started favourite and blitzed his rivals to win by eight lengths.
Dariym is the second winner from Darinja, a winning Shamardal mare from the family of Champion 3YO Filly and triple Group I winner Darjina.
