Mares in Foal to I Am Invincible Prove Golden

The Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale this week highlighted the extraordinary appeal of mares in foal to Yarraman Park’s champion sire I Am Invincible with five of them offered and all were sold at an average $1,330,000.

The most expensive broodmare sold in foal at the Gold Coast was Piping Hot, who has achieved fame and fortune as the dam of dual Group I winner and Royal Ascot contender Coolangatta.

She was in foal to I Am Invincible with Tom Magnier adding her to the Coolmore broodmare band for $3million.

The other mares in foal to I Am Invincible were as follows:

Stakes-winning Snitzel mare Nomothaj was snapped up by Widden Stud for $1.2million.

US stakes-winner Giza Goddess (USA) was bought by Clarke Bloodstock for $1.15million.

Ballet de Joie, an unraced sister to Russian Revolution, made $700,000 to the bid of Baramul Stud.

Suspicieuse (Fr), the dam of Group II winner Dubious, sold for $600,000 to Yulong.

I Am Invincible

I Am Invincible is Australia’s leading sire with seasonal earnings just shy of $20million and 21 Australian stakes-winners this season to his credit.

I Am Invincible stands this spring at a fee of $302,500,
