The record breaking Inglis Chairman’s Sale last night produced eight mares that sold for $1million or more and seven of those were bred in Australasia and six of them were purchased initially as yearlings.

Bought originally as a yearling at Inglis Premier by Randwick Bloodstock for $270,000.
Montefilia (Kermadec) $3.4million
A $62,000 weanling that made $130,000 at Magic Millions when bought by Payne Racing.
Icebath (NZ) (Sacred Falls) $2.3million
Bought by Brad Widdup and partners for $100,000 at Inglis Classic.
Berimbau (Shamardal) $1.8million in foal to I Am Invincible (carrying full sibling to Imperatriz)
Bred by Darley and sold in foal to Exceed and Excel in her first season at stud as part of one of their reductions at Magic Millions in 2016 to Raffles Dancers for $180,000.
Dashing Legend (Snitzel) $1.6million
Bought for $380,000 at Inglis Easter by Bon Ho.
Dosh (Rich Enuff) $1.35million in foal to Exceed and Excel
Bought for $155,000 at Inglis Classic by Grahame Begg.
Inspirational Girl (NZ) (Reliable Man (GB) $1.1million
Bought for $190,000 at Karaka Book 1 by John Chalmers Bloodstock.
