Gold Front Set Fee for Awesome Rock

Media Release - Thursday May 4

Prominent Western Australian Breeders Gold Front Thoroughbreds are excited to announce that their highly credentialled sire, Awesome Rock, will be standing for a fee of $9900 in the upcoming breeding season.

Awesome Rock

At only four years of age, Awesome Rock's oldest progeny have already made a name for themselves with a 6% strike rate of stakes winners to runners. Recent winners include the G3 Western Australian Derby victor, Awesome John, and the G3 SAJC Chairman's Stakes winner, Red Sun Sensation.

The son of Fastnet Rock was a standout performer on the racetrack, winning the prestigious VRC Emirates Stakes. Since retiring to stud, Awesome Rock has made significant strides with only three crops of racing age.

Despite covering moderate books of mares averaging 55 each season in his first three years at stud, his exceptional performance has garnered him an impressive following, with 107 mares covered last season alone at a fee of $7700.

Gold Front Thoroughbreds is looking forward to seeing what Awesome Rock will achieve in the upcoming breeding season and invites breeders to book early to avoid disappointment.
