Rosemont Stud Announce Fees

Tara Madgwick - Friday April 28

Rosemont Stud have announced fees for 2023 with their Cox Plate winning Group I sire Shamus Award topping the roster at $60,500 inc.GST.

Shamus Award stadns at $60,500

An elite sire with five Group I winners to his credit, Shamus Award has big crops of weanlings and yearlings in the pipeline to build on the formidable success he has already achieved to date.

Until last year when he stood for $88,000, Shamus Award had never stood for a fee greater than $33,000, so his record is all the more impressive with close to 7% stakes-winner to runner and a very high ratio of Group I winners.

A fast stakes-winning son of Extreme Choice, Extreme Warrior stands at the slightly reduced fee of $19,800 for his second season after covering 113 mares last spring, while Hanseatic remains at $17,600 with his first weanlings to be offered for sale starting on Monday and Tuesday at the Inglis Australian Weanling Sale.
