Winning Run and $100,000 Yearling for Supido

Widden Stud’s promising young sire Supido has had a flurry of recent winners with three winners from four runners on Saturday including metro winners Fasuto and Kosta’s Crown, plus another promising winner on Sunday at Wagga in Allaboutroy.

The Clinton McDonald trained three year-old gelding Fasuto is building a tidy record and produced a sharp turn of foot to surge home and win over 1000m at Mornington on Saturday in a $130,000 Benchmark 70 sprint.

0,000 Inglis Premier purchase for his trainer from the Tarcoola Stud draft, Fasuto has won three of seven starts earning over $150,000 in prizemoney and may back up next Saturday in another suitable race at Sandown.

$100,000 Supido colt from Northern Glory

At the Inglis HTBA Yearling Sale on Sunday, Widden Stud got a great result with a Supido colt from Group III placed Northern Meteor mare Northern Glory.

A half-brother to three winners, he was bought by Price Kent Racing, who have already had good success with Supido training his exciting colt What You Need.

What You Need has had three starts for three wins most recently taking out the $500,000 Listed VRC Sunlight Classic and he is now spelling in preparation for the spring.

Supido has had a fee increase for thsi spring and stands at $19,800.
