It is a huge buzz. This horse had drawn a good gate. There were so many scenarios going through our heads in regard to how it was going to work out. It couldn't have worked out any better in the run, we had a dream run outside of the leader. I am over the moon.

2nd

VEGA MAGIC

Craig Williams

He was awesome in defeat. Defied the track pattern and just ruing the fact we didn't draw a barrier. Awesome performance.

3rd

BRAVE SMASH

Jamie Spencer

Huge run. Had a lovely run around but the winner was very impressive.

4th

CHAUTAUQUA

Brenton Avdulla

Ran terrific. It's just hard to make up ground today.

5th

TULIP

Tim Clark

She ran out of her skin. We rode her quiet from the gate and she ripped home well. Tried her heart out.

6th

ENGLISH

Blake Shinn

She ran well. Hit the line strongly but didn't really handle the ground all that well.

7th

HOUTZEN

Jeff Lloyd

Good effort. She received a bump early out of the barriers and weakened over the last bit but I thought it was a good effort in that company.

8th

CLEARLY INNOCENT

Hugh Bowman

He ran a creditable race.

9th

DEPLOY

Joshua Parr

Never got in the contest. He was under pressure a long way from home.

10th

REDKIRK WARRIOR

Regan Bayliss

We had a lovely run in transit but never let down.

11th

SHE WILL REIGN

Corey Brown

Obviously disappointing. Had a great run in transit and followed the winner. Didn't give me the turn of foot she normally shows. I reckon the Moir run might have taken the edge off her.

12th

FELL SWOOP

Tye Angland

Travelled three wide on speed but was disappointing.
