My bloke is an out and out stayer and he picked them up beautifully when I asked him to go. |

Wall Of Fire |

He ran enormous from a (Melbourne) Cup point of view, he will be a great ride for somebody who can make the weight. |

Gallic Chieftain |

Every chance, what stuffed me early was when Harlow Gold came off the fence and I ended up getting shuffled back. I thought I had the winner on the corner. |

Great run from my horse. |

He was really good late, just warming up the last bit. |

We wanted to be a bit closer but the speed was too good. He got through and he hit the line well. I think 3000m or more now would be better. |

Ran a nice even race, she just pulled a bit in the middle stages. |
