Julie Harris and her team are being kept busy during inspections for the Adelaide Magic Millions Yearling Sale with a draft of six including quality colts by proven Group I sires Nicconi and So You Think.

It’s not often we see grey progeny of Nature Strip’s sire Nicconi, but Lot 182 is an eye-catching son of the Widden Stud based sire who clocked up his 100th Australian winner of the season last week.

Lot 182

He is the first foal of Louella, a half-sister by dashing grey sire Dalakhani (IRE) to Magic Millions 2YO Classic winner Le Chef from the family of Group III winner Magnapal.

Lot 222 is one of only four colts in the sale by outstanding sire So You Think and is from Group III placed Blackfriars mare Miss Vinnoire.

Lot 222

The handsome colt had a good pedigree update during the week when his three year-old half-brother by Deep Field, Irish Crickets, saluted at Sandown after placing at his fist three starts, read about him here.

The remainder of the draft is as follows:

Lot 88 Filly Divine Prophet x Filly of Steel, by Charge Forward

By the sire of Group II winning filly See You in Heaven and is the second foal of a half-sister to Group placed Bradman and Ghost Cry from the family of Group winners Osborne Bulls and Zapateo.

From the first crop of Deep Field’s brilliant sprinting son Cosmic Force from an unraced half-sister to Group III winner Kanzan, the dam of Group III winner Rainier from the family of current star G1 winning 3YO Jacquinot.

Lot 153 Filly Exceedance x Kirk Ella, by Lonhro

From the first crop of G1 Coolmore Stud Stakes winner Exceedance and is the second foal of a winning Lonhro mare from the family of Group I winner Virage de Fortune tracing back in tail female line to champion grey mare Emancipation.

By the sire of Group winning fillies Jamaea and Mileva and is a half-sister to two winners from stakes-winner New Image, a full sister to Group I winner Perfect Reflection and Group III winner Ideal Image.

Lot 318 Colt Dubious x Select Cat (USA), by Tale of the Cat
