MM Adelaide Season Finale for Mill Park

The yearling sale season finishes for Mill Park Stud with their home town sale next week and the Magic Millions Adelaide Yearling Sale will showcase a 12 strong draft from the famed South Australian Nursery.

The Mill Park honour roll of success features a galaxy of Group I stars and million dollar earners such as speed queens Away Game, Instant Celebrity, Booker, Run Fox Run and Seradess as well as outstanding performers including Warning, Dalasan, Berkeley Square, Peltzer and Hong Kong based Senor Toba, but just at the minute it’s all about rising star Benedetta.

The three year-old Hellbent filly was a modest $75,000 yearling purchase from Mill Park and has won four of five starts for her trainer Jason Warren and owners Eales Racing Syndications banking over $600,000 in prizemoney.

She has made a rapid rise through the grades culminating in a three length trouncing of Group winning filly Paris Dior in the $750,000 Inglis Sprint last Saturday and there are many more wins in store.

Lot 17 Colt Hellbent x Chickasaw, by Flying Spur

By the same sire as Benedetta and his full brother My Maloo opened his account at Strathalbyn on Thursday for the Richard and Chantelle Jolly stable at his second start.

 

Lot 84 Colt Capitalist x Fast and Loose, by Fastnet Rock

By leading young sire Capitalist and is a half-brother to three winners from a winning half-sister to multiple Group winner Catapulted and to the dam of stakes-winner Harleymoven from the family of Group I winner Ihtsahymn.

 

Lot 134 Colt Pride of Dubai x It’s a Myth, by Sepoy

By G1 sire Pride of Dubai and is the second foal of Group III placed It’s a Myth, a half-sister to Group III placed Too Goo Too Hard from the family of four-time Group I winner Divine Madonna, Group III winner Angel of Mercy and stakes-winner Maternal.

 

Lot 171 Colt Rubick x Languid, by Commands

By the sire of G1 winner Jacquinot and Everest hero Yes Yes Yes. Half-brother to four winners headed by stakes-placed Hopon Harry from a winning half-sister to stakes-winner Moderate, the dam of Group III Canberra Black Opal winner Pin Sec. Rubick has a good strike rate with Commands mares siring seven winners from 10 runners headed by Group III Contemptuous.

 

Lot 212 Filly Blue Point (IRE) x Miracleofmiracles, by More Than Ready (USA)

By a red hot first season sire in Blue Point and is the first foal of a metro winning half-sister to stakes-winners Celtic Tiger and Avisto, the dam of multiple Group III winner Annavisto. Dam has a filly to follow by Golden Slipper winner Farnan and is back in foal to him again.

 

Lot 230 Filly Written Tycoon x Moreau, by Snitzel

Full sister to promising Danny O’Brien trained filly Cheval Chic, two second placings from three starts. From Group II placed Moreau, a sister to the dam of Group IIII winner Pinstriped and goes back to an international family featuring Champion 2YO and European Horse of the Year Arazi.

 

Lot 351 Colt Magna Grecia (IRE) x Star Stopper, by Hallowed Crown

By exciting first season sire son of Invincible Spirit in Magna Grecia, a Group I winner at two and three. Second foal of unraced half-sister to stakes-winner Mickey Blue Eyes and grand-daughter of stakes-winner Wyndam Special.
