Most expensive runner is$1.1million Snitzel colt  Fightertown, who kicked off with a debut sixth in a tough race won by Red Resistance and has trialled well since closing late for a close fourth.

Kenology (Tivaci), Soldier of Rome (Snitzel) and Libertad (Russian Revolution) and have also won recent trials, the latter catching our eye as a potential new winner for Russian Revolution.

The fillies division has plenty of interest with most of the field unraced and race favourite Ballroom Bella is two for two at the trials and is another Russian Revolution showing some talent.
 

 

Saikono(Maurice (Jpn) and Clea also winning trials, the latter, a daughter of outstanding mare Streama by Spirit of Boom, bolting in at Hawkesbury.
