Star US 2YO for More Than Ready

Tara Madgwick - Thursday October 12
20 this year, although you'd never know it to look at him, More Than Ready (USA) is never without a good horse and US trained filly Rushing Fall has all the hallmarks of being his next juvenile star.

More Than ReadyA TDN Rising Star when winning on debut at Belmont last month, the Chad Brown trained filly confirmed her potential when powering clear to win the $150,00 Group III J.P Morgan Chase Jessamine Stakes at Keeneland, a 'Win and You're In' qualifier for the Group I Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf on November 3.

"She was extremely impressive, but I'm not surprised," said her trainer.

"She identified herself as special the first time we breezed her on the turf. We are lucky to have her."

Rushing Fall bolted clear to win the 1 and 1/16th mile contest on turf by more than three lengths and has now won two from two.

The 177th stakes-winner for More Than Ready, she is a half-sister to stakes-winner Milam from Forestry mare Autumnal.

More Than Ready stands at a fee of $66,000 at Vinery Stud this spring.
