Admiration Express turned the tables on her Listed Challenge Stakes conqueror Feels Playful in Saturday's Listed Schweppes - Ascot 1000 Guineas (1800m).
Ridden by Lucy Warwick for Simon Miller, Admiration Express put paid to Feels Playful at the 200m, and it was plain sailing from there.
The daughter of My Admiration defeated the daughter of Playing God by four lengths with a further length back to the Pride Of Dubai filly She's Fit in third.
The winner of the $300,000 Group III WA Champion Fillies (1600m) in November, Admiration Express advances her record to two wins, two seconds, and a third from six starts with earnings of $315,180.
Miller said Admiration Express will likely line up in the Listed Natasha Stakes (2200m) at Ascot on March 11 before the Group III WA Oaks (2400m) on March 25.
"She travelled well, Lucy rode her well, and she's just a really, really good filly," Miller told the West Australian.
A $60,000 purchase for her trainer from the Namerik Thoroughbreds draft at the 2021 Magic Millions Perth Yearling Sale, Admiration Express is the fifth winner from as many to race for the 5-time winning Verglas (IRE) mare Comme Ci.
Also, the dam of the stakes placegetters Fred Dag (Patronize) and Janaura (Safeguard), Comme Ci, had a Patronize filly sell to Hayden Ballantyne Racing at the 2022 Magic Millions Perth Yearling Sale and has been named Flinders Lane.
Comme Ci foaled a yearling colt and filly foal by Patronize. She was covered by the first-season Snitzel stallion Splintex last spring.
The Encosta De Lago stallion My Admiration stands at Westbury Park Stud in Western Australia for a fee of $4,400.
