Trained by Dion Luciani and ridden by Patrick Carbery, three year-old My Bella Mae went to the post as favourite and chimed in with a strong finish to score a long head win.

My Bella Mae has the imposing record of five wins from six starts with earnings in excess of $541,000 and her lone defeat was in the Group I WATC Winterbottom Stakes behind Paulele.

A trip to Melbourne is a possibility for the promising filly or the lure of the $4million inaugural Quokka closer to home in Perth may keep her racing in the West

Retained to race by her breeders after passing in at the Perth Magic Millions, My Bella Mae was foaled and raised in the Hunter Valley at Middlebrook Valley Lodge and is the first winner for Group III placed Mae West (NZ), a half-sister by Sir Percy (GB) to Group III winner Who Dares Wins.

She is one of eight Australian stakes-winners this season for Deep Field.
