Kitchwin Colt an Early Classic Highlight

The half-brother to a Group I winner by one of the most popular young sires in the country is a colt that has everyone stopping in to see the Inglis Classic draft offered by Kitchwin Hills.

Lot 10 will be the first horse into the ring for Kitchwin Hills and also the first for Capitalist, who is the most represented sire at this year’s sale.

He is a half-brother to Group I ATC Coolmore Classic winner Steps in Time and is from Group II winning O’Reilly mare Rare Insight, an exceptional producer that has had seven foals to race and all are winners.

He comes from a top class Black Type family featuring Group I winners Glamour Puss and Vision and Power as well as quality Group winning mare Espiona, who resumes from a spell at Randwick on Saturday in the Group III ATC Southern Cross Stakes.

Lot 61 Filly Pride of Dubai x She’s a Rainbow, by Redoute’s Choice

By the sire of Group I winning mare Bella Nipotina and is a half-sister to two winners including Majestics Request, who has won twice at the Sunshine Coast since the catalogue went to print, so has now won four races and over $80,000. From an international Black Type family.

 

Lot 128 Colt Written By x Sweet Orphan, by Show a Heart

From the second crop of exciting young sire Written By, already the sire of Group III winner The Novelist and two more stakes horses and is second foal of a winning sister to Group I MRC Oakleigh Plate winner Woorim and Group I placed Charnley River. Written By’s sire Written Tycoon has 100% success with mares by Show a Heart having produced four foals to race bred this way and all have won highlighted by Group winners Winning Rupert and Tycoon Evie.

 

Lot 138 Colt All Too Hard x Tangerine, by Encosta de Lago

Half-brother to five winners from the family of Group I winners Innocent King, Unearthly and Invest. Bred on the same cross as four time Group I winning $.5.5 million earner Alligator Blood and stakes-placed Warranty.

 

Lot 365 Colt Blue Point (IRE) x Deja Blue, by Denman

From the first crop of champion sprinter Blue Point and is second foal of  stakes-winner Deja Blue whose first foal Bella Fillide is now placed at Warrnambool. Dam is a half-sister to stakes-winner Triple Gold and is a grand-daughter of UK stakes-winner Zelanda.

 

Lot 415 Filly Yes Yes Yes x Feirin, by Fastnet Rock

From the first crop of Everest winner Yes Yes Yes, who was sold as a yearling by Kitchwin Hills at Magic Millions for $200,000 in 2018 before going on to be Champion 3YO Colt with earnings topping $7million. This atheltic filly is the fourth foal of a lightly raced winning Fastnet Rock mare from US Group II winner Randaroo (USA).
