At the Inglis Classic Yearling Sale last year, Valiant Stud had the honour of selling the highest priced filly of the sale and on Monday, Tulsi made a winning debut in New Zealand.
By The Autumn Sun from Talimena, Tulsi was purchased by Glenn Burrows Bloodstock for $550,000 on behalf of New Zealand based owner Gary Harding and is trained by Johno Benner and Hollie Wynyard. Read more about her debut win here.
“It’s brilliant to see Tulsi win on debut for her connections,” said Fergal Connolly of Valiant Stud.
“We have all recognised her outstanding qualities since very early on. It’s all well and good having a masterpiece but for them to be successful it makes it all the more rewarding.
“Her breeder Lloyd Walker has been with Valiant Stud since the beginning and to achieve results like this with friends is very satisfying.”
