The powerful Maher and Eustace stable had a short priced favourite in the 1500m Benchmark 64 event at Mornington on Wednesday and she kept her record at a perfect two for two brining a nice pedigree update for her Karaka Book 1 bound full sister.

Three year-old Time Test (GB) filly Running on Time won her debut at Swan Hill last month over 1200m and had enjoyed the step up in trip to score her second win.

She was strong to the line beating older rivals to win by a length.

 

A $165,000 Inglis Premier purchase for Ciaron Maher Bloodstock / Thompson Creek Thoroughbreds from the Noorilim Park and is the second winner from Luscious Legs, an unraced half-sister to Group I winner Dal Cielo, Group III winner Eloa and to the dam of Group I winner Lights of Heaven.

Little Avondale Stud will offer a full sister to Running on Time as Lot 319 at Karaka Book 1.
