Juvenile Trial Watch – Warwick Farm

Tara Madgwick - Friday December 23

Four heats for juveniles run at Warwick Farm on Friday and two of them were won by youngsters that have siblings in upcoming yearling sales.

Mark Newnham has had plenty of success with stakes-winning sprinter Dragonstone and he is also the trainer for his two year-old half-brother by Headwater called Storm the Ramparts.

He was having his second trial and scored a neck win in the quickest time of the four two year-old heats.

Valiant Stud will offer his yearling half-brother by Cosmic Force as Lot 5 at Inglis Classic.

Carrying the Darby Racing colours, the Bjorn Baker trained Rubick filly Desperately won her heat in her first public outing.

Desperately is the first foal from stakes-placed Dream Kisses and her second is a Castelvecchio colt that will be offered by Glenlogan Park at Magic Millions as Lot 806.

Other heat winners were both trained by Annabel Neasham: Fameux (Exceed and Excel) and Desert Safari (Pride of Dubai).
