Turn Me Loose Leading NZ Based Sire at NZB Ready to Run

Exciting young stallion Turn Me Loose (Iffraaj) was in hot demand at this week’s Karaka Ready to Run sale of Two Year Olds.

$520,000 Turn Me Loose colt from Aypebe

With successful racehorses in our main export markets of Hong Kong and Australia, his progeny were well sort after at the sale, headed by the Turn Me Loose – Aypebe colt achieving a top price of $500,000 and selling to the bid of leading Hong Kong trainer Casper Fownes. Winning bids of $250,000 were paid for two Turn Me Loose geldings who sold to prominent Hong Kong trainers Jimmy Ting and Ricky Yiu whilst another colt sold for $110,000 to the bid of John White bloodstock and heads to Australia.

Overall Turn Me Loose averaged of $277,000 with an aggregate of $1,100,000 for his 4 lots sold.

Turn Me Loose was last season's Leading 2nd crop sire for stakeswinners, ahead of Tarzino, Tivaci and Vadamos and he has already started this season well with his top class 3YO daughter She’s Licketysplit winning the Gr.2 Edward Manifold Stakes at Flemington and finishing third in the Gr.1 1000 Guineas at Caulfield. He has also had three runners in Hong Kong with two of them, Eternal Bloom and Smiling Collector, being victorious.  
 
The next opportunity to secure the progeny of Turn Me Loose will be next January at Karaka 2023 where a number of Lots by the top young stallion will be offered in both Book 1 and Book 2.
