Sepoy Quartet of Gosford Winners

Tara Madgwick - Thursday October 5
If you had the feeling Darley's Golden Slipper winner Sepoy was starting to gain some traction, you'd be right and with four individual winners at the Gosford meeting on Thursday, he's become a sire on fire!.

After recently posting his first Group I winner with Alizee taking out the ATC Flight Stakes, Sepoy has hit a little purple patch.

SepoySepoy won the first race at Gosford with consistent gelding Lightz (3g from Polar Success) breaking through for his first win with a three length victory in the 1100 metre maiden as favourite.

In the 1600 metre maiden it was Raise an Army (4g from Raise) that opened his account with a well-deserved win after nine previous placings from his 15 starts.

The next race, a 1200 metre maiden went the way of Tiny Taj (3f from Rinky Dink), who scored a thrilling short half head on debut for Godolphin.

Sepoy kept up the momentum to win the last race with Sikhing Glory (4g from Soul Diva), who won his third race from eight starts when scoring over 1000 metres by a length.

Sepoy stands at a significantly reduced fee this year of $16,500 at Darley, so if you loved him and could never afford to go to him, now is your time.
