Baby Brother for Home Affairs

Tara Madgwick - Monday October 24

The Group I VRC Coolmore Stud Stakes was won last year in explosive fashion by outstanding I Am Invincible colt Home Affairs, whose full brother was born at Torryburn Stud last week.

While Home Affairs is settling into his new stud career at Coolmore where he is covering a stellar book of mares at a fee of $110,000, it’s all just beginning for this youngster.

Born last Friday night, the I Am Invincible colt from Miss Interiors looks very much like his famous brother.

“The team at the farm are elated by the safe arrival of this special colt. Both mare and foal are doing well,” said Mel Copelin.

A winning half-sister by Flying Spur to dual Group I winner and Champion First Season Sire Russian Revolution, Miss Interiors has all the makings of an exceptional producer with her first two foals being Group I placed stakes-winner Aysar and then dual Group I winner Home Affairs.

Torryburn Stud sold a Dundeel colt from Miss Interiors at Inglis Easter this year for $540,000 to Phil Cataldo Bloodstock and she has a yearling Dundeel filly to follow.
