Juvenile stakes racing continues at Caulfield on Saturday with seven acceptors for the Listed MRC Debutant Stakes for colts and fillies.

Race favourite is the Peter and Paul Snowden trained I Am Invincible colt King’s Gambit, who won his only trial in Sydney at Warwick Farm last month.

by Gooree Park, who retain an interest, he runs for the Newgate / China Horse Club colts partners, but did not go through a sale. King’s Gambit is from Group III winning Encosta de Lago mare Sultry Feeling, a half-sister to Group III winner Swift Alliance.

Tony and Calvin McEvoy put the polish on blue-blood Pride of Dubai colt Adeem, the first foal of Group I ATC Flight Stakes winner Oohood.

He was a $240,000 Magic Millions purchase from the Segenhoe draft for McEvoy Mitchell Racing/Belmont Bloodstock Agency (FBAA) and runs for an ownership group that includes Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Maktoum, who bred both his sire and his dam.

Godolphin won the first Victorian juvenile stakes race of the season last Saturday with Zulfiqar and will be looking toa add to his success with Street Boss (USA) colt Heuristic, the first foal of placed Lonhro mare Admissible, a daughter of Golden Slipper winner Forensics.

Adeem and Heuristic both trace in tail female line to influential matriarch Easy Date, whose descendants include champion sires Snippets and Not a Single Doubt with another family member King’s Legacy leaving some stunning first foals this spring.
