Golden Rose Field and Barrier Draw

Godolphin have a great record in this race and will also be represented by quality colts Daumier and Golden Mile, whose sires Epaulette and Astern won this race respectively for Godolphin in 2012 and 2016.

Only one filly has won the Golden Rose and that was Golden Slipper winner Forensics, who was successful when the race was transferred to the autumn in 2008 when EI impacted the Australian racing and breeding industry.

Few fillies have contested the race, usually following the Darley Princess Series path, but the colts are set to be given a good run for their money on Saturday with In Secret one of four fillies to accept, the others being Group I ATC Golden Slipper winner Fireburn, Group ATC Champagne Stakes winner She’s Extreme and Group II ATC Percy Sykes Stakes winner Paris Dior
