"The quality of the catalogue is fantastic. Our vendors know what it takes to offer top quality prospects, which is reflected in the outstanding racetrack results of our graduates," Magic Millions Managing Director Barry Bowditch said.

"Over the past five years this sale has produced 29% more stakes winners, 33% more winners and 46% per wins than Australia's nearest competitor."

Domestic graduates sold at the sale include recent million dollar earners Krone, Tyzone  and Victorem as well as the likes of Esta La Roca and Indy Car. Famously the sale also produced the Melbourne and Australian Cup winner Shocking.

Singapore's best galloper, Lim's Lightning, was a $50,000 Gold Coast 2YOs in Training Sale by Mick Dittman for Lim's Stable at Kranji.

Late last month the international success for past graduates was on display when Star of Yiu Cheung scored another feature win, this time in the Macau Gold Cup - his second win in the big race and his 14th win from 23 starts.

Other recent international stars to have graduated from the Gold Coast 2YOs in Training Sale include Singapore stars Top Knight and Celavi and Macau Guineas winner Hostwin Saturn.

In a boost for buyers 103 lots are BOBS Eligible, 61 are nominated to the Magic Millions Race Series, seven are nominated for the Golden Slipper, three for the Blue Diamond Stakes and 10 lots are QTIS Fully Paid. Some 17 lots are Super VOBIS Nominated.

Youngsters will breeze at one of four sessions across three states in the lead up to the auction giving prospective buyers a great chance to see each lot gallop on a similar surface.
