Two heats over 840m at Doomben on Tuesday for juveniles produced a winner for Darby Racing by Nicconi.
Trained by Chris Munce, She’s a Rogue was well held together in winning by the best part of a length over Code Cracking, a $170,000 Magic Millions Book 2 purchase by first season sire Encryption.
She’s a Rogue was a $100,000 purchase for Darby Racing from the draft and is the first foal from stakes-placed Sequalo mare Quelle Liaison.
The second heat was won by Felix the Scat, a son of Scat Daddy sire Mendelssohn (USA), who shuttled to Coolmore Australia for just one season.
