In-form jockey Damian Lane has picked up a plum ride in Saturday week's Caulfield Guineas.
Trainer James Cummings has booked Lane to partner Godolphin's Kementari in the $2m contest.
Kementari was beaten 1 1/4-lengths behind the Lane-ridden Perast and Summer Passage in Sunday's Group III Caulfield Guineas Prelude (1400m) when ridden by Kerrin McEvoy who will be at Randwick on October 14.
Lane piloted Bandipur to victory at Caulfield on September 23 for Cummings.
Following his run on Sunday, Kementari is now joint second favourite with Royal Symphony at $5 with Sportsbet behind $4.60 favourite Catchy in the Caulfield Guineas.
