Haunui Farm Farewell Shannon Taylor

At the end of July, Haunui Farm will farewell long time Sales & Marketing Manager, Shannon Taylor, as she embarks on a new chapter in her career.

After just over 17 years as an integral member of the Haunui Farm team, Shannon will be taking up a new challenge as Sales & Marketing Manager for the New Zealand office of the highly regarded international bloodstock freighting company, IRT.  Shannon will begin her new role on the 1st August.

Shannon stated, “I will be forever grateful to the Chitty family for the opportunities that I have been afforded in my 17 years at Haunui. 

“I am particularly indebted to Mark who has been a mentor to me, and I can honestly say I wouldn’t be where I am if it wasn’t for the trust and faith he has put in me over the years, and the advice and guidance he has given.”

Haunui Farm’s Managing Director, Mark Chitty says, “Shannon’s dedication and passion for Haunui over her time with us has been unparalleled.  We wish her all the very best in her future endeavours and I’m delighted that she won’t be lost from our wonderful industry.”

Shannon will continue with her voluntary roles in the industry which include sitting on the NZTBA Council, Secretary of the Auckland Branch of the NZTBA, Trustee of the Sunline Trust and, Board Member of New Zealand Thoroughbred Marketing.

“I would like to thank all the people I have worked with over the years and of course, all of our wonderful clients, many of which I now consider friends.  I certainly look forward to maintaining those close relationships in the future.”
