Breednet Introduce 4YO Sire Tables

Tara Madgwick - Tuesday July 12

Breednet produce an extensive list of interactive sire tables and we’ve just added a new addition to the list with the lucrative Golden Eagle sparking interest in four year-olds as a category, so who are the division leaders by earnings and winners.

Our leader by earnings is of course Rich Hill Stud’s Shocking, whose classy son I’m Thunderstruck won last year’s $7.5million ATC Golden Eagle (1500m), a race set aside for four year-olds that has been given a boost for 2022 and will this year be worth $10million.

The list by winners holds interest shedding light on some of the sires that produce a lot of horses that keep winning as they mature with Written Tycoon on top by winners and also stakes-winners with five of his total 13 stakes-winners this season being four year-olds.

Written Tycoon’s current crop of four year-olds represent his biggest ever foal crop conceived in 2016 when his fee jumped from $19,800 to $49,500 and he covered 226 mares, which remains the biggest book of mares he’s ever covered.
