SANTA ANA LANE

DEAN YENDALL

Great effort. The pace was good but he really attacked the line well.

2nd

MR SNEAKY

BRENTON AVDULLA

He ran terrific. I got left there on the bend and I had to pop out and give him a bit of room. I was just left a sitting shot.

3rd

SO SI BON

CRAIG NEWITT

He went terrific. He had a nice run in the race, had no trouble, and I think he's just looking for a mile.

4th

SOVEREIGN NATION

REGAN BAYLISS

He'll be a nice horse in the Toorak in two weeks' time.

5th

THEANSWERMYFRIEND

KERRIN MCEVOY

He slipped a little bit at the start and that put us behind the eight-ball and we ended up sliding forward and doing a bit of work through that first couple of furlongs. He has run a nice race.

6th

TOSEN STARDOM

BLAKE SHINN

Great run, especially to get back from the wide draw. He hit the line terrific and I think he's just crying out for a mile. I think under the circumstances, with a better draw he goes close.

7th

SCALES OF JUSTICE

BRAD RAWILLER

We had a really good run on a really hot speed but just coming into the straight, we were building up our momentum nicely and we got really knocked off our course. It just hurt him going through his gears. He was under the bat a bit earlier than what I would have liked.

8th

LAND OF PLENTY

LINDA MEECH

Had no luck early from that wide gate. It didn't help on that home turn, when those horses came out underneath me, that he lost concentration. He started running on late.

9th

GRANDE ROSSO

COREY BROWN

He ran well but he was a false leader because they went so quick. I hate being in that position dragging the rest of them up but he didn't do too bad.

10th

IT'S SOMEWHAT

HUGH BOWMAN

I was very pleased with him. It was a really solidly run 14(00m) and that was a bit strong for him. Up in distance, he's in for a good spring.

11th

ATTENTION

BEN THOMPSON

He travelled nice. Was outsprinted on the turn but he stuck on.

12th

ROYAL TUDOR

CHRIS SYMONS

A little bit disappointing. He was off the bit a fair way out and he just whacked away late.

13th

LUCKY HUSSLER

MARK ZAHRA

14th

CANNYESCENT

BEAU MERTENS

I think he's looking for a break now. He's been up a long while and he might have felt the ground as well.
