Pride of Dubai vs Vancouver

The Australian General Sires List has produced a thrilling battle between I Am Invincible and So You think with some $300,000 splitting the pair whose earnings both top $18million, but that’s not the only sire division looking at a close finish with two former Group I winning 2YO’s going head to head in another.

Golden Slipper winner Vancouver and Blue Diamond winner Pride of Dubai both started their stud careers at Coolmore and with just over a month of the season to run the pair are sitting at the top of the third season sires list by earnings and have each sired 60 winners.

Vancouver has now been relocated to Woodside Park Stud in Victoria where he will stand at a fee of $15,400, while Pride of Dubai remains at Coolmore at a fee of $16,500.

They are both priced affordably for quality sires that are doing a good job in delivering plenty of winners and stakes horses .

Pride of Dubai has had four stakes-winners this season headed by his Group I placed Group II winning sprinter Bella Nipotina and Group III winner Sirileo Miss, while Vancouver has a pair  of Group II winners in Vangelic and Overpass, who is headed towards the $10million Golden Eagle in the spring.
