This price point has dropped in numbers from previous years with many of the sires previously in this category either moving up or down.
The only two proven sires remaining are Spirit of Boom (Sequalo) and Shalaa (IRE) (Invincible Spirit) , who are very different in terms of pedigree and profile, but have something in common other than their fee in both being capable of producing plentiful 2YO winners.
The oldest progeny of Shalaa are 3YO’s, while Spirit of Boom is a well established sire, whose first Group I winner Jonker is off to stud this spring.
