Holbrook Thoroughbreds will present a draft of five for the Inglis Australian Weanling Sale this week and all are by commercial sires with strong pedigree offering pinhook potential.

Lot 78 Filly Russian Revolution x Cochimi Rose, by Roman Emperor
 

By leading first season sire Russian Revolution and is third foal of a half-sister to Group placed Sunday Rose, Divine Moon and Moonboat, the dam of Group placed Into the Abyss and stakes-placed Aghna.

Fourth dam is influential blue hen Jesmond Lass, the dam of Group I winner Canny Lad and Canny Lass, the family producing Group I stars such as Bivouac and Sepoy.

Lot 141 Colt Zousain x Fudgewedge, by Foxwedge

 

From the first crop of champion sire Zoustar’s brilliant Group II winning son Zousain and is first foal of a winning half-sister to stakes-winner Ondina and stakes-placed Holy Cow.

From the family of 2020 European Horse of the Year Ghaiyyath and Group I winners Nightime and Zhukova.
