DASHING SPECIAL only just missed last start, finishing half a length back from the winner at Newcastle and likely to race on the speed, needs the breaks. EIGHT OVER mixed form of late and goes up in distance for the first time, place only. RATIONALE placed two starts back and gets the blinkers on for the first time, chance to place.

Race 2 summary - CITY OF LOVE well beaten but finished strongly at only start at Newcastle, major contender. COOL ONE back from eight week let-up and trial since last run could help, could threaten. HINCHMAN resumes after a 21 week spell and first start for a new trainer, in with a chance. LUGARD ROAD racing well without winning. Couldn't hold on and just missed last start at Bathurst, not the worst.
Race 2 tips - 1st: CITY OF LOVE (4), 2nd: COOL ONE (5), 3rd: HINCHMAN (7), 4th: LUGARD ROAD (9).

Race 3 summary - GROUNDBREAK back from six week let-up and has trialled since last race, tough to beat. FIFTH AFFAIR consistently close but finding it hard to win and blinkers come off for the first time, don't dismiss. SMOOTH WHISKEY knocking on the door after recent runner up finishes and only just missed in driving finish last start at Newcastle when fresh, chance to place. SCHOOLMATES first starter and fitter for multiple trial runs, capabable of getting into the money.
Race 3 tips - 1st: GROUNDBREAK (7), 2nd: FIFTH AFFAIR (10), 3rd: SMOOTH WHISKEY (1), 4th: SCHOOLMATES (8).

Race 4 summary - Expecting this to be run at a genuine clip. MANHATTAN CHIC is a strong finisher and has won at Hawkesbury before, a close top pick. VIXEN LASS a speedy type and placed two runs back, include in exotics. NOT SURPRISING in decent form and won two of four as a favourite, outside hope. MOLLYFIED first-up after 30 week spell and in decent form, for the wider exotics.
Race 4 tips - 1st: MANHATTAN CHIC (3), 2nd: VIXEN LASS (8), 3rd: NOT SURPRISING (5), 4th: MOLLYFIED (4).

Race 5 summary - I AM CAPITAN winner or placed in five of past six and gets going late, tough to beat. BEAU HOFFA won or placed three of last seven and only just missed in driving finish last start at Dubbo when resuming, consider in exotics. MR TINDALL first-up after 28 week spell and winner when first-up on debut, outside hope. PRINCE DYLAN a speedy type and drops in weight, for the wider exotics.
Race 5 tips - 1st: I AM CAPITAN (1), 2nd: BEAU HOFFA (4), 3rd: MR TINDALL (2), 4th: PRINCE DYLAN (6).

Race 6 summary - Can’t imagine one of the top two not winning. SEAGLASS chasing back to back wins after winning last start at Newcastle when fresh and in outstanding form winning two in a row, one of the main hopes. BACKLESS been in strong winning form and drawn perfectly, if in the finish no surprise. TORVILL in decent form and only just missed in driving finish last start at Kembla Grange, in with a chance. SHIELD WALL first-up after 16 week break and in decent form, place claims.
Race 6 tips - 1st: SEAGLASS (4), 2nd: BACKLESS (7), 3rd: TORVILL (6), 4th: SHIELD WALL (2).

Race 7 summary - ALL FROM SCRAP winner or placed in six of past seven and should look to roll forward, will take the power of beating. CHAVISH let-up for seven weeks and ran three lengths back from the winner last start at Kembla Grange, not the worst. CHAVO resumes after a 20 week spell and will come to hand quickly, place hope. SPRINTING TO WIN won two on the trot and last start winner at Kembla Grange, strong place chance.
Race 7 tips - 1st: ALL FROM SCRAP (3), 2nd: CHAVISH (2), 3rd: CHAVO (4), 4th: SPRINTING TO WIN (1).
