Sponsored Content - by Tara Madgwick - Wednesday March 9

Mill Park Stud in South Australia is a thoroughbred nursery that consistently delivers results at the highest level right around Australia, from Derby contenders to Speed queens, and they always support their home town sale, the Magic Millions Adelaide Yearling Sale with a quality draft by a wide range of sires.

Owned and run by the Watson family, Mill Park Stud has an honour roll of stars that is ever changing with one of the current flagbearers being star sprinting mare Away Game, a Champion 2YO Filly that is still performing at the elite level as a four year-old.

She's a beauty! Away Game was bred and sold by Mill Park Stud.

A $425,000 Magic Millions purchase for Kerri Radcliffe Bloodstock, the daughter of Snitzel has been an outstanding investment for her all women ownership group winning $3.6million in prizemoney with a fine last start second beaten half a length in the Group I MRC Oakleigh Plate.

The only thing missing from Away Game’s resume is that elusive Group I win, which may well unfold before this season comes to an end.

Other current star performers raised / sold by Mill Park in 2021 / 2022 include Group I SAJC Robert Sangster Stakes winner Instant Celebrity, $3.1 million earner Dalasan, $2.2million earner Warning, $1million earning Group winner Peltzer (now retired to stud) and Group and Listed winners Zoushine, Seradess, Cerberus, Ecumenical and Senor Toba, who is now in Hong Kong being prepared for the 2022 Hong Kong Derby
