Godolphin trainer James Cummings has been asked to attend a Racing NSW stewards inquiry on Tuesday after it was revealed Savatiano returned a positive swab following her Group 1 Canterbury Stakes win last year in which she defeated Zoustar mare Mizzy by a short half head.
Savatiano tested positive to banned steroidal substances trendione, trenbolone and epitrenbolone, substances linked to the drug Altrenogest which regulates fertility in mares, and as a result she could be disqualified from her Group 1 win.

The Group I win was the lone elite victory for Savatiano, who retired to stud last year and was covered by Lonhro.
If Savatiano does lose the race, Mizzy will gain a valuable commercial update in gaining that Group I win which would be her first.
A multiple Group II winner that was also second in a Group I Coolmore Classic, third in the Golden Eagle to Kolding and Sunlight and fourth in the Group I Surround Stakes, Mizzy was sold at the Magic Millions Broodmare Sale last year to Tom Magnier for $2.2million.
She would certainly be deserving of the status of a Group I winner if the Canterbury Stakes victory comes her way.
Mizzy also went to stud last season and was covered by Wootton Bassett (IRE).
