Two Year Old Trials at Randwick

Tara Madgwick - Monday September 25
Three two year-old trials over 735 metres at Randwick on Monday morning produced three winners by More Than Ready (USA), I Am Invincible and Stratum.

Miracleofmiracles as a yearlingBjorn Baker produced speedy More than Ready filly Miracleofmiracles to score a narrow win in the first heat clocking 44.50 seconds, but there was little between the first three home with Lagarde (Hinchinbrook) a whisker away in second with the Godolphin runner Cristobal (Exceed and Excel) closing hard on the bridle for third.

A $340,000 Magic Millions purchase for Hancock Quality Bloodstock from the Bhima Thoroughbreds draft, Miracleofmiracles is a half-sister to stakes-winners Avisto and Celtic Tiger from good producing Exceed and Excel mare Miraculous Miss.

The second heat was also won by Bjorn Baker with Miss Invincible clocking a more than a second quicker in skipping away to win in 43.10 seconds.

A natural speedster she shot straight to the front and kicked on to win over the strong finishing Godolphin runner Rebukes, a full sister to progressive three year-old filly Regimen.

Miss Invincible as a yearlingA $100,000 Inglis Classic purchase for Bjorn Baker/ Blandford Bloodstock from the Manx Park draft, Miss Invincible is a three-quarter sister-in-blood to I Am Invincible's smart stakes-winner Divine Centuri from Abound.

The third heat was for colts and geldings with the Mark Newnham trained Stratum colt The Enzo holding on to win over Peter and Paul Snowden's Legislation (Not a Single Doubt) in 43.40 seconds.
