Rare Kementari Yearlings Sold

Tara Madgwick - Friday January 14

Charismatic Lonhro gelding Kementari will be in action at the Gold Coast on Saturday having gained a wild card entry for Godolphin to start in the $1million Magic Millions Cup (1400m) and over the road in the sale ring his only two foals, who are now yearlings have both been sold this week and will join major Sydney racing stables.

$325,000 Kementari filly bought by Star Thoroughbreds.

Canning Downs got $325,000 for their well-bred filly from Mithila, who is a half-sister to stakes-winner Madam Legend from the female family of champion sire Redoute’s Choice.

The filly was bought by Denise Martin’s Star Thoroughbreds / Randwick Bloodstock so will enter the stable of champion trainer Chris Waller.

A unique filly with a pedigree that will take her a long way, she will not be hard to syndicate and no doubt her career will be well worth following.
