Tara Madgwick - Wednesday January 12

Not a Single Doubt was the leading sire by average at Magic Millions last year and his final crop of yearlings were always going to be a highlight this year with the Segenhoe Stud consigned colt from Miss Admiration setting the sale ring alight when selling for $1.7million on Wednesday.

ing individual, he sparked intense competition before Ciaron Maher Bloodstock secured the colt with a $1.7million bid.

$1.7million for Segenhoe Stud's Not a Single Doubt colt.

Bred by Segenhoe, who raced his mother, the colt is the first foal of quality Sebring staying mare Miss Admiration, winner of the Group III ATC Colin Stephen Handicap.

Miss Admiration was a quality race filly for Segenhoe - image Steve Hart.

She was also placed in two Group I Oaks races and retired with earnings topping $300,000..

Her first foal has always been a show-stopper as you can see in the Tweet below from Peter O’Brien.

Sadly for Segenhoe, Miss Admiration lost a foal last spring by Too Darn Hot (GB), but was then covered by Capitalist.

Now pensioned Arrowfield stalwart Not a Single Doubt has 15 entries for Magic Millions this week.
