900k for Justify Filly from G1 Star Global Glamour

Tara Madgwick - Tuesday January 11

The second yearling by Coolmore’s Triple Crown winner Justify (USA) to be offered at Magic Millions on Tuesday doubled the price of his first yearling sold (Lot 1 for $450,000) when fetching $900,000 to the bid of Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott.

$900,000 Justify filly from Global Glamour.

Consigned by Coolmore, she is the second foal of Global Glamour who won over $1.5million for the Waterhouse Bott stable with highlight victories in the Group I ATC Flight Stakes and MRC Thousand Guineas.

Her first foal, a colt by Zoustar, made $600,000 at this sale last year and was also bought by Waterhouse and Bott, but is yet to be named.

The best performer for her sire Star Witness, Global Glamour has been a darling of the Magic Millions sale ring, bought as a yearling for just $65,000 by James Bester / It's All About The Girls Syndicate before lighting up the sale ring when returning as a broodmare prospect in 2019.

She was bought on that occasion by a partnership of Coolmore/Gerry Harvey/James Bester for $1,550,000.

Global Glamour lost a foal by I Am Invincible last spring and was then covered again by Yarraman Park’s champion sire.
