Breednet Track First Season Sires at the Trials

Tara Madgwick - Thursday December 23

At this time of year there is great interest in the progeny of first season sires stepping out at the trials so Breednet are tracking them and producing a weekly report which features 11 first season sires with trial winners in the pipeline with a few new names featuring this week.

Ribchester (IRE) now shuttles to Haunui Farm in NZ.

Godolphin’s Ribchester (IRE) produced a nice trialler with the James Cummings trained filly Portray looking to have her share of ability when winning a heat at Canterbury on Tuesday.

The report catalogues the performance of all progeny of first season sires up until they race offering a quick way to see anything of interest that may be in the pipeline.

These horses remain on the list up until they go to the races, so the list only features UNRACED two year-olds.

First season sires with trial winners on this list this week are: Gold Standard, Hellbent, Heroic Valour, Impending, Invader, Kobayashi, Pariah, Ribchester (IRE), Russian Revolution, Spieth and The Mission.
