Coolmore Announce First Crop Ferrari Bonus for Justify

Media Release - Saturday December 11

Coolmore Australia is thrilled to announce an exciting incentive that will see the winner of the first qualifying two or three-year-old race from the first crop of Justify awarded a brand new Ferrari.

This innovative concept starts with the Magic Millions Yearling Sale in January 2022 and will apply to all yearling sales throughout the year in Australia and New Zealand, as well as all owner/breeders with Justify yearlings to race.

“In the past, other farms have offered cash bonuses as incentives for various first crop sires, however with a stallion as special as Justify we thought it was appropriate to reward the owners of the first Group I winning Justify with a Ferrari.

“Ferrari’s and Justify have so much in common. They are both fast, red, powerful and incredibly stunning and given the quality of his stock that we have seen, we’re convinced that we will be giving one away,” said Coolmore Australia Principal, Tom Magnier.

Coolmore will present a Ferrari to the buyer listed in the official sales results or owner/breeder of the first Justify to win one of the qualifying races as listed below.

The terms and conditions are outlined on the Coolmore website at Coolmore.com.au.

“Justify is the only US Triple Crown winner to ever retire undefeated and is undoubtedly one of the most extraordinary horses to shuttle to Australia,” Magnier added.

“Ever since it was announced that he was shuttling he has been met with an incredible response by Australasian breeders, and covered an unbelievable book of mares in his first season. We could not be happier with the quality of the Justify stock that we have at Coolmore and reports from all of our clients with Justify yearlings to sell and race has been overwhelmingly complimentary. We couldn’t be more confident about Justify leaving his mark on the Australian breeding landscape in the future, and we are so excited by what is to come.”

Justify is the best son of sire-of-sires Scat Daddy, who has been an incredible speed influence of turf throughout the world, including Australia where his daughter Con Te Partiro was a dual Group I winner.

Justify is one of the most represented first crop sires at the Magic Millions in January with 26 entries (click here to see them) , including progeny of the likes of Global Glamour, Savvy Coup, Eckstein, Black Mamba, The Party Stand and Lake Geneva, as well as siblings to Loving Gaby, Pohutukawa, Fiesta and Annabel Neasham’s highly talented two-year-old Wild Calm.
